Five German Medals Archive Cooper were rescued by FrenchFive German Medals WWI Iron Cross 2nd Class (iron, magnetic, marked "48" on ring, 43. 7 mm); War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords (zinc, 49. 5 mm); Medal of the War Merit Cross (bronze, 32. 3 mm); East Medal (silvered zinc, unmarked, 35. 7 mm x 40. 8 mm); and West Mall Medal (zinc with a bronze coloured gilt, unmarked, 33. 2 mm x 41. 5 mm). Very crisp detail, light contact, as a lot, near very fine.
